Item description

Sound your horn for battle! Thor's helmet is winged, not horned. You can reduce the size of the helmet by adding a hat band inside of tape similar to a sweat band. The Space Wolves in Warhammer 40,000 are basically Super Soldier Vikings IN SPACE No horns, though. While the disparate groups that made up the Celts left few written records in the early Bronze Age, pieces of stylised art are testament to their culture and marked from apart from the classical world.

The horned viking helmet was just one of countless colorful items in the armoury of a fin-de-siecle Europe fascinated by war and its tools. Be sure you are more than ready for your next Viking feast with the Floki Drinking Horn with Holder. And they wear horny helmets.

Even without cheek-guards, a helmet can be used to manipulate an opponent's head to control him (right). Romans took this tradition a level further fashioning stunning glass drinking horns for ceremonies. Drinking horns managed to make the jump from their Pagan roots to Christian society in Medieval Europe, gaining popularity in the 13th century among clergy and noble households.

Decorative plates of the Sutton Hoo helmet (c. 600) depict spear-carrying dancing men wearing horned helmets, 4 similar to a figure seen one one of the Torslunda plates from Sweden. And evidence of a gory raid on the Aberdeenshire monastery of Portmahomack showed the Norse warriors weren't above targeting religious settlements.

STEP 5: Then we need a glue to place that horns to the sides, just make sure that you cut away the duct tape in order for those horns to stick better to the cardboard. I first made this hat at the request of one of my friends who came with the brief - hey Pam can you make me a Viking style hat with ear flaps and horns - erm ok then.

I've pulled together several of my favorite
